Rehabilitation of Garadagh and Surakhani landfills, Republic of Azerbaijan
Winner of the tender for rehabilitation of Garadagh and Surakhani landfills. Rehabilitation of Garadagh and Surakhani solid waste landfills project funded by the World Bank and commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the project, 5800000 m3 of existing waste were to be re-formed, isolated water be supplied, barriers to contact with groundwater, and drainage system for rainwater collection be constructed, gas collection and incineration works, and landscape design works be carried out. The project has been completed.
